Environment Policy
Preserving the environment is a major global issue. Whether our customers are commercial or municpal, we help them improve their environmental performance through sustainable resource recovery and waste management solutions.
In the waste that we handle every day on behalf of our thousands of customers, STIA strives to increase the proportion which is reused, recycled or recovered. The waste that cannot be converted into resources are elimated under conditions that respect our environment.
We not only provide environmental services for the well-being of the Australian population, but we manage natural resources by reinjecting them into the economy in the form of raw materials and energy to avoid wastage of precious virgin resources.
