06/09/2014 - Mackay Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC) ‘Keep Harbour Beach Clean’ project received a boost this week and purchased a new beach cleaner with the help of a $5000 grant provided through SITA’s Community Grant Program.

Surplus food gets a SecondBite

05/09/2014 - People in need across Melbourne’s outer suburbs now have access to new sources of fresh produce, thanks to a financial grant by waste and recycling company SITA. With a $5,000 SITA Community Grant, and other generous donations, SecondBite has been able to expand its operations to source and redistribute 104,000 kg of high quality surplus fresh food, to 50 agencies across Carrum Downs, Kilsyth and Seaford in Melbourne’s outer metropolitan suburbs.

Clowning around delivers smiles to kids

03/09/2014 - A special kind of medicine was delivered today at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, thanks to a financial grant by waste and recycling company SITA ‘The Clown Doctors’ provide sick children in hospital with a unique medicinal treatment; fun, smiles and laughter.

Currumbin Koalas to have access to life saving equipmet

02/09/2014 - With 250 koalas injured around Currumbin each year the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital has received a grant for a new intensive care unit. Waste management and recycling company, SITA, alongside Jonathon Fisher, CEO Currumbin Wildlife Hospital and City of Gold Coast Councillor Chris Robbins presented the $4,004 cheque at the event on Monday.

EPA approves SITA trial at Taylors Road Landfill
