Householders & Small Business

Householders and small businesses are able to drop off separated recyclable materials at any of our public Resource Recovery & Recycling Centres.

These materials are sorted and sent to manufacturers for recycling into new products such as newspapers, glass, plastic containers and car parts.

We also recover resources such as steel, cardboard and untreated timber from dry waste brought to our sites.

Items that are difficult to recycle, such as paints, car batteries and engine oil, are also accepted and recycled where possible, or are disposed of responsibly.
