Gas Cylinders

Gas cylinders require caution with disposal, and need to be dropped off at a licensed facility.

Will SUEZ accept my gas cylinders?
SUEZ has a number of facilities that are licensed to accept gas cylinders. Please call our Customer Service Centre on 13 13 35 for more information. If you are residing in Metropolitan Sydney please call 1300 651 116.

What else can I do with my gas cylinders?
Residents may be able to dispose of their gas cylinders through one of the following services;

NSW Clean Out 131 555 The Office of Environment & Heritage provides a free drop off for gas cylinders and household chemicals to residents of NSW.
ACT Canberra Connect 13 22 81 The Department of the Environment, Climate Change, Energy and Water can advise residents of services available for gas cylinder and chemical disposal.
VIC Local Councils   Some Victorian councils accept gas bottles up to 9kg at their facilities. Contact your local council for more information.
SA Zero Waste SA 0882041947 Zero Waste SA provides a free drop of service for hazardous waste in SA.
WA WALGA-HHW 08 9213 2000 WALGA - HHW provides details of drop-off facilities in WA.
QLD Local Councils   Queensland councils organise chemical disposal days individually. Contact your local council for more information.
