The EPA have also been notified of this activity.
Please keep this in mind over the coming days if you notice any odours similar to fertiliser or manure.
If you notice any odours which you believe cannot be attributed to this activity, and may instead be coming from the Lucas...

As part of SITA's ongoing odour management program, work commenced on 22 August 2011 to upgrade the landfill gas extraction and power generation infrastructure at Spring Farm Advanced Resource Recovery Park.
These works are an important part of improving our environmental performance and reducing the level of odour escaping from our facility, and are expected to be completed within 6 to 8 weeks. However, while every effort will be made to prevent it, there is potential for a temporary increase in odours during the upgrade.
SITA welcomes your feedback. Our dedicated Environmental Reporting hotline can be reached on 1800 062 086.
