Waste Assessment & Environmental Audit Services

Waste assessments and audits are an ideal way to discover how your company can recycle more, improve its bottom-line and develop sustainable resource recovery objectives.

How do waste assessments work?

A waste assessment is often undertaken prior to a full waste audit to identify areas of your company's current waste and recycling practices that could be improved.  Following a waste assessment, a waste audit provides a greater level of detail about the composition of waste generated onsite.  An audit can also identify key areas of non-compliance with your company's environmental policies and give an indication of the level of employee engagement when it comes to recycling and sustainability.

How will a waste assessment benefit your company?

Assessments and audits are ideal for any medium to large business, facilities or site that is looking to further refine its resource recovery and recycling processes.  An experienced SUEZ segment manager can undertake an audit in any commercial or industrial environment including: major manufacturing facilities, office towers, shopping and tourism complexes, school and tertiary campuses, hospitals and aged-care facilities, as well as infrastructure and services facilities.

Following a waste audit, our segment managers will work with you to develop a recycling and waste management plan that suits the individual requirements of your operations.  Taking into consideration the site of the site, level of employee engagement, environmental objectives and other unique factors, a sustainable plan encompassing education, implementation and management of your waste streams can be developed.

A tailored waste management plan can deliver real benefits in terms of cost management, improving recycling through source-separation and reducing waste disposal to landfill.

Our customers also benefit by receiving reporting tools that will show positive change post-audit implementation.
