Document Shredding & Destruction

In today's business environment, privacy and confidentiality is more important than ever before. The secure disposal of your sensitive business information and material is vital. The Privacy Act requires many businesses to ensure the confidentiality of personal information.

Document Destruction at a Glance

SUEZ provides a complete Document Destruction services that is reliable and meets all confidentiality and security requirements. Secure collection and processing of documents and products can be scheduled through a permanent container service or an 'as required' bulk collection.

 

What we destroy?

We will collect and securely process any confidential paper or media material including:

  • Personnel records
  • Medical/health records
  • Contracts and tenders
  • Office files
  • Archive files
  • Video tapes, CDs, DVDs and microfiche

We will arrange the collection, transportation, secure destruction and processing of all confidential or sensitive material and guarantee a secure process throughout the supply chain – giving our customers complete peace of mind. Confidential documents are collected in the following systems* which can be adapted to suit your site.

For your peace of mind

Prior to employment with SUEZ, our employees and operators who are associated with sensitive services undergo full background checks.

To ensure total security of your sensitive material, we can provide lockable 120L, 240L and 660L secure containers which can be conveniently located and collected from selected internal locations on your site during business hours.

Our containers are:

  • Secure and can be provided with slotted lids upon request
  • Suitable for paper or electronic media
  • Can be serviced daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly or as required
  • Easily identifiable and colour coded in line with Australian Standards

What happens once we've collected your documents for destruction?

Secure documents collected by SUEZ are monitored from the point of collection through to arriving and being processed at one of our secure facilities where the documents are screened for contaminants, before being shredded and baled.

A Document Destruction Assurance Certificate can be issued upon request.

After the paper material has been shredded and rendered unrecognisable it is then sent for reprocessing into new paper products such as tissue paper.

Office Recycling System

SUEZ offers complete source separation and recycling services for offices that maximise resource recovery and recycling rates.

Other source separation receptacles available for your office recycling system include:

  • 60L Multisort bins
  • 120L and 240L bins colour coded in line with Australian Standard for easy waste stream identification
  • Under desk and office floor boxes
  • Dedicated recycling boxes for batteries, fluorescent tubes and globes
