Mark Venhoek

Chief Executive Officer – Australia & New Zealand

Mark Venhoek is Chief Executive Officer of SUEZ in Australia and New Zealand.

Mark has significant global experience across the SUEZ group since joining the company in 1992, spanning the European, Asian and Australian markets.

Most recently, Mark led SUEZ’s waste management operations across Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, mainland China and South-East Asia. Under his leadership, the business was awarded significant key contracts across the region and strengthened the Group’s overall leadership position in this market.

Mark has previously held positions across Europe including Germany, the Netherlands, and Northern Europe. In 2004, Mark became CEO of SITA Germany, before being appointed Chief Operating Officer to the Group’s Northern Europe division overseeing operational service activities across Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg.

Mark is a member of the SUEZ Global Executive Management Committee.

Francois Gouezigoux

Chief Financial Officer

Francois has more than 15 years of experience in finance within large corporates; combining execution of complex financial transactions and management of day-to-day financial operations.

Francois joined the Mergers & Acquisitions team of SUEZ Group in 2007, after having managed strategic financial projects for large French corporates in France and overseas.

He joined SUEZ Australia & New Zealand in 2011 in the position of Chief Financial Officer for the Water business. Since 2015, Francois is in charge of Finance, and Information Technology for SUEZ in Australia and New Zealand.

Francois holds a Master in Management and Master of Science in Finance from HEC Business School (Paris).

Lindsay Kyle

General Counsel

Lindsay has worked with SUEZ since July 2010 in the role of General Counsel and Company Secretary.  She leads the legal team in supporting business activities and in managing regulatory and compliance risks. 

Prior to joining SUEZ, Lindsay was a partner at Baker & McKenzie law firm where she practised in trade practices and commercial law.  Lindsay has over 15 years experience in legal practice and has advised many of Australia's leading companies in industries ranging from mining and resources to luxury brands. She worked in London as a corporate lawyer before settling in Australia.

Lindsay holds a degree in Law with French, a postgraduate in competition law from Kings College London (top of the year), and a masters in European Law from the University of Brussels. She is a co-author of one of the Australian texts on trade practices laws and an invited speaker at legal conferences. She is a member of the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association.

Emmanuel Vivant

Executive Director - Development, Performance & Innovation

Emmanuel has worked with SUEZ since 2001.  He has 17 years of international experience with SUEZ in the resource recovery and waste treatment sectors having previously held roles in France and Hong Kong.

Emmanuel has a Civil Engineering degree.

Fusun Ozhan

Chief Information Officer

Fusun is Chief Information Officer for SUEZ in Australia and New Zealand and leads the Information Technology team.

With over 25 years' experience in Information Technology, Fusun supports the business through delivery of IT services and strategic initiatives.

Fusun first joined SUEZ in 2014 having previously worked in the Insurance and Banking sectors and managed IT projects and programs for global organisations based in London and the United States. She has also taught project management at the University of New South Wales as part of the Masters of Business Technology program.

Fusun holds a degree in Business Administration with majors in Operational Research and IT.

Margaret Andrews

General Manager, Environment, Quality & Safety

Margaret has over 20 years experience in the waste management industry and over 10 years working within the Environment, Quality & Safety field. 

She was instrumental in the development and implementation of SUEZ’s national EQ&S Management System and the national certification of the Management System to AS4801 – Occupational Health and Safety and ISO14001 – Environmental Systems.

Margaret has cross-discipline technical expertise in a variety of areas including waste management, occupational health and safety management, training, legal compliance, risk management, environmental management and workers compensation.

She is a qualified Environmental and OH&S Auditor and Incident and Accident Investigator.


Justin Frank

Director Marketing, Communications and Corporate Affairs

Justin joined SUEZ in July 2017 after previously leading the Strategy and Marketing function at an executive level for CHEP Australia & New Zealand. Throughout his 13 years at the company, he has worked in Account Management across Europe and operations roles where he lead the logistics function in the UK and Australia. 

Justin holds a Master of Business Administration from Manchester Business School, a Bachelor of Law from Leeds University and a NSCA Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.

John Hassett

State General Manager, New South Wales & South Australia

John has a background in accounting and 16 years experience in the waste industry. Prior to his current role he held the position of SUEZ's Finance Director.

Under John's direction SUEZ's New South Wales business has developed a significant waste collection and treatment footprint with the ability to treat a large range of customer waste products including general waste, recycling, liquid, medical, and quarantine and product destruction.

SUEZ Recycling & Recovery New South Wales business is the largest producer of compost from waste providing a further competitive advantage. He has recently completed a four year term as Director and Treasurer of the Waste Management Association of Australia.

John has a Bachelor of Commerce (UNSW), is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Nial Stock

State General Manager, Western Australia

Nial leads the SUEZ WA team to provide responsible waste generators with tailored services that are hassle free and maximise resource recovery. He is a a Director of WA Landfill Services (WALS) and SITA-MediCollect, which are within the SUEZ WA business portfolio, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Waste Management Association of Australia WA branch.

Nial worked for nine years in the transport and logistics industry in the UK and has served for 13 years in the Australian waste industry in a variety of senior, private sector positions. 

He holds a BA Honours Degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Town Planning.

Peter Hudson

State General Manager, Queensland

Peter has over 14 years of experience in the waste industry with a background in Project Management. Prior to joining SUEZ in 2009, he held senior management positions in both New South Wales and Queensland.

Peter is currently the State General Manager for SUEZ in Queensland.  Before this appointment he held the position of General Manager, Commercial & Industrial Services for the Queensland business and continues to develop his business with double digit growth every year.  Under Peter's leadership the business has grown significantly in Regional QLD within the mining and heavy industrial sectors.

Peter sits on the board of WRIQ (Waste Recycling Industry Association QLD) and serves as Secretary on the governance committee this organisation. Through this position he is actively involved  in consulting with state government on waste and recycling policies.

Kelvin Sargent

State General Manager, Victoria

Kelvin Sargent holds significant commercial and general management experience with a career spanning over 25 years in industries such as transport, concrete, quarrying, recycling and mining.

Prior to joining SUEZ in May 2014, Kelvin held leadership roles in companies in both the United Kingdom and across Australia. 

Most recently, Kelvin worked with the McCaleese Group as the General Manager of the national fuel and gas division, following a successful eleven year career with Holcim in a number of senior leadership roles, the last as General Manager of its Victorian, South Australian and Tasmanian concrete business.

Kelvin has a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Geology, Chemistry and Business and a Master of Science Degree in Industrial Mineralogy. This is complemented by international business study and leadership programs through Stanford University, INSEAD, IMD and Tec de Monterrey.
