SITA Melbourne Printer Cartridge and Toner Cartridge Recycling

Melbourne Printer Cartridge and Toner Cartridge Service Summary:

SITA has joined Close the Loop in Cartridges 4 Planet Ark to offer our Melbourne customers printer cartridge recycling for free!Box pic.jpg

With up to 80% of imaging consumables thrown to landfill each year, the program is able to capture and recover these potentially hazardous wastes.

In Melbourne, most businesses and offices will have a need for this recycling service. The printer and toner cartridge recycling containers are a perfect size to sit in a copy room, or next to a desk. For larger sites, several collection points might be identified during a free SITA waste assessment.

Close the Loop recycles all used imaging cartridges from any type of printer, fax and photocopier. Under the program all of these items can be recycled to ensure nothing goes to landfill:

  • Inkjet and laser cartridges
  • Toner bottles
  • Drum kits
  • Fuser kits
  • Fax, photocopier or printer cartridges

When you consider that over 18 million printer consumables are used by Australians each year there is a lot of product that can be recycled!

How do I take advantage of this free recycling service in Melbourne?cartridges.bmp

  • Simply register by contacting SITA on 13 13 35. A SITA Territory Manager can visit your business to assess your waste and recycling needs. Once the registration form is completed, you will then receive a starter kit, with collection box, pre-labelled liners, ties and instructions.
  • When your collection box is full simply dial the number on the side of the box and it will be collected for free.
